<br />The 6v6 field behind the school will be used on Saturdays by the U10 boys and girls.<br />David Yildiz will request permission from the BMS school to use the field for the season.<br /><br />Tony
raised the issue of his need to step down from the President's position
and nominated David Yildiz.  The nomination was seconded and a vote was

Christy West will be the coach. Practices will be on Wednesdays at 3:10pm on the BMS field. Week to start TBD as it is weather dependent.<br /><br />U7 Boys and Girls - There are 7 children signed up. David Yildiz will be the coach. Please contact David if you are interested in being an assistant coach(dyildiz@alcatel-lucent.com). The games are 4 vs 4 with no goalie.<br /><br />U8 Boys and Girls - There are 10 children signed up. We will have one team with Tim Guilfoyle the coach. Chris West will assist and more are needed. Please contact Tim(tguifoy@pharmacare.com). They will play 5 v 5 including a goalie.<br /><br />Coaches - Sue Green will e-mail you the rosters. Coordinate picking up uniforms and equipment with Evy Dueck(EvyDueck@charter.net or 838-2738)<br /><br />Practices - Fields will be open for practice around April 7, but this is weather dependent. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are available for U10, U12 and U14 practices. Monday and Wednesday Puma will be using the fields. The Nashoba League starts April 12th. The season is 9 weeks. This is usually also true for U6, U7 and U8.<br /><br />Games - U6 games will always be on the BMS field at 9 am on Saturdays unless notified by the coach. They scrimmage each other. U7 and U8 games will be at 12pm or 4pm with no game on May 3rd. We will play against Boylston. Boylston's game coordinator is Ann Consiglio. Tim Guilfoil will be the Berlin game coordinator. Hopefully half of the games will be at home. If there is an odd game it will be in Berlin.<br /><br />Referees - Referees will be coordinated by Becki Blanton. Evy Dueck will be the head coach with Erin Mannion and Cathy Porter assisting.<br /><br />U12 Boys<br />12 players are signed up. Some of the goals need to be repaired, Dave White to talk to Henry Pacific about repairing these. Be sure to collect all shirts from the players and return them to Evy with the equipment. It may be helpful to make a list of what you are returning, so Evy can keep track of what is coming in and what each coach will need for next season. If your team is playing indoor soccer at Teamworks, the kids may use the Berlin Youth Soccer shirts. The coaches are responsible for collecting the shirts from the players after the indoor is over. If a player is not playing indoor, their shirt must be given to the coach. All team members must be asked to play indoor if you are using the BYS shirts.</p><p style="margin-top:5px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:10px;margin-left:0px"> </p><p style="margin-top:5px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:10px;margin-left:0px"><b>Awards:</b> The medals were handed out to the coaches present at the meeting. The games will be 4v4 (1 goalie, 3 fielders) and are for the U12 and U14 levels only. U-12 will play Mondays 6pm-8pm and U14 to play Wednesday 6pm-8pm beginning mid November. These will be 40 minute games and will focus on technique, skills and keeping the ball in bounds.</p><p style="margin-top:5px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:10px;margin-left:0px">Recycling cleats: Christy West has kindly offered to start a program on recycling cleats that do not fit any more.
