Soccer and Baseball will
provide hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and paper goods. As in the past, we are
asking that families provide the following according to last name:
- A to L are asked to
bring a pasta, green, or potato salad
- M to Z are asked to
bring a fruit salad or dessert
We will be collecting
for the Berlin Food Pantry this year. Please bring a non- perishable item if
you can. Typically, the food pantry is low on personal items such as razors,
deodorant, toilet paper, etc and pasta/pasta sauce and canned fruit.
It has been a long time
tradition that we have the awards portion first, followed by dinner. We understand
that people are hungry and want to eat. This format allows our volunteers at
the grill to make a substantial amount of hamburgers and hot dogs so that
people do not have to wait. If you can’t wait,
please go eat, but understand that the hamburgers and hot dogs may not be
ready. Additionally, please make sure that if you do eat, you are listening for
your child’s team to be called up for awards. Chatter by the food tables can
become extremely loud and some children missed getting their awards because
they didn’t hear their name called. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
